Certification according to VDA 6.2

Quality certification for service providers in the automotive industry

The automotive and supplier industry expects high quality, reliability and flexibility from its service providers. The VDA 6.2 rulebook covers all requirements for service providers in the automotive industry.

With our VDA 6.2 certification, you can demonstrate your fulfillment of the quality requirements for your processes and products and thereby increase your customers’ satisfaction.

Successful VDA 6.2 Certification in just a few steps

The German Association of the Automotive Industry, VDA for short, has developed the VDA 6.x standards; these standards form the regulatory framework for the German automotive industry. The VDA Volume 6 Part 2 Standard, “QM System Audit Services,” is aimed specifically at internal and external service companies in the automotive industry, such as car dealerships, garages, engineering firms, freight forwarders, etc.
As the content of VDA 6.2 corresponds to ISO 9001, the VDA certificate also includes ISO 9001. This allows the quality management to be optimally adapted and improved in accordance with your company’s circumstances and needs. We can also provide you with a separate ISO 9001 certificate upon request.
Your certification procedure
1. Information meeting (optional)
Clarification of outstanding issues, joint determination of the next steps, project discussion or optional preliminary audit
2. Document verification and on-site audit
Readiness analysis and audit of the description of the management system, the quality-related capability towards your customers, implementation of the documented statements in daily business
3. Audit report and assessment
Visitation report and assessment of the management system
4. Certification and DEKRA seal
After successfully completing the certification, you will receive your certificate and our recognized DEKRA seal (with a maximum validity period of three years)
5. Annual surveillance audit
A surveillance audit takes place every 12 months
6. Recertification
Steps 2 to 6 are repeated in the recertification audit three years after initial certification
