About ISO 22301 Certification

When introducing and implementing a BCM, you as the company management are particularly required to participate. By tailoring it to your company and taking preventative actions for potential incidents, you are able to optimally prepare applications and company areas for disruptions to operations.
ISO 22301 certification is suitable for companies of any industry and size. This will ensure that key operational functions are maintained even after an emergency. During the associated audit, we review the current situation in your company and identify any non-conformities in your BCMS. As the standard is based on the generally harmonized structure (HS), it can also be efficiently combined with other management systems.
BCM in the context of sustainability and climate change
BCM has a clear focus: ensuring the resilience of companies and organizations. The aim is to prepare them for potential disruptions and to maintain business operations as quickly and continuously as possible in case of unexpected events, which is a fundamental principle in the standard.
Given the growing impact of climate change on organizations, BCM plays a crucial role and can help as a tool/method to successfully overcome these challenges.
By applying effective BCM strategies, organizations can manage potential risks, maintain business continuity, and ensure long-term success.
In addition, BCM promotes a more sustainable business environment by encouraging companies to rethink their business models and practices and to focus more on environmental protection and sustainability.
Successful business continuity management helps to reduce the negative impact of climate change on businesses while opening up new opportunities for growth in an increasingly environmentally conscious world.

Important note
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has revised its management system standards to better address climate change, motivating companies to take action and make sustainable improvements.
This extension affects all ISO Type A management system standards, including ISO 22301, and requires certified organizations to integrate climate change into their planning and consider the needs of their stakeholders. Implementation of these new requirements is required immediately and will be monitored by us as the certification body. Non-compliance may result in non-conformity.
