When it comes to safety in the transport of hazardous goods, whether by road, rail or inland waterway, a corresponding supplementation to the quality management system is necessary. Certification according to DIN EN 12798 provides you with exactly this supplementation. Companies that are already certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 can acquire this certification without much additional effort during their annual ISO surveillance audit.
The audit assesses in particular the explosion- and fire safety measures, the securing of hazardous goods for transport and the training given to the employees on the topic.
Procedure of your DIN EN 12798 certification
  1. Information
    Clarification of outstanding issues and determination of next steps
  2. On-site DIN EN 12798 audit
    Documents review and verification of the implementation of the documented management system on site
  3. Audit report and assessment
    Evaluation of the results, possibly with presentation of potential optimization measures
  4. Certificate and seal
    After successfully completing the certification process, you will receive your DIN EN 12798 certificate and the DEKRA seal
  5. Annual surveillance audit
    A surveillance audit takes place every 12 months.
  6. Recertification
    To renew the certificate, a new recertification is planned before the expiration of the certificate’s validity. For this purpose, steps 1-5 described above are repeated
