DIN 14675 Certification

Independent certification as a specialist company for fire alarm systems and voice alarm systems

The planning, installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems and voice alarm systems requires a high level of expertise and experience. Improper execution can have serious consequences and may even cost lives. A certification according to DIN 14675 certifies that you, as a specialist company, fulfill the exacting requirements – in terms of the correct planning, project planning, installation and commissioning of fire alarm and voice alarm systems – sufficiently to effectively guarantee fire protection.

As DEKRA Certification GmbH, we are therefore able to carry out certifications in accordance with DIN 14675 and to audit the persons responsible in accordance with DIN 14675.

Our experts support specialist companies for fire alarm systems and voice alarm systems with their certification according to DIN 14675, “fire alarm systems.”This allows companies to demonstrate their qualification according to the requirements of DIN 14675-2 “fire alarm systems - Part 2: requirements for the specialist company” or in combination with ISO 9001.
We offer the following certifications:
  • Engineering and planning firms: Certification of Phase 6.1 Planning & 6.2 Project planning
  • Specialist firms (installers): Certification of Phase 7 Assembly/installation, Phase 8 Commissioning, Phase 9 Acceptance and Phase 11 Maintenance
  • Specialist firms (installers): Certification of all phases
The certificate is valid for four years.

1. Application
Application to an accredited certification body
2. Document review
Our experts check that all documents have been submitted in full
3. On-site certification
Audit of the fulfillment of the requirements of DIN 14675. The audit encompasses all the relevant phases implemented by the company.
4. Certificate and seal
After successfully completing the certification, you will receive your certificate and the DEKRA certification seal (with a maximum validity period of four years)
5. Surveillance audit
After two years, the surveillance audit is carried out
6. Recertification
After four years, the recertification takes place

About ISO 14675
Obligation to provide information if the scope of certification of a specialist company is reduced
In accordance with the certification procedures, the specialist company must notify the certification body of any changes without delay (in the event of the QM certification being lost/reduction/change of fire/voice alarm systems, the system provider and the “responsible person,” for example).
