DEKRA expands TISAX expertise in Brazil to strengthen cybersecurity in the automotive industry
DEKRA is further expanding its TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) expertise in Brazil. The aim is to better support the growing information security requirements in the automotive industry while strengthening Brazil's role in global supply chains.
From July 23 to 30, 2025, Christopher Helbig, Global TISAX Product Manager at DEKRA Certification GmbH, traveled to Brazil to train Fabricio Avancini, a local DEKRA assistance auditor, in SĂŁo Paulo and Joinville. This measure is part of a comprehensive initiative to specifically expand regional audit capacities.
TISAX is an information security standard developed by the automotive industry that ensures companies meet internationally recognized security requirements when handling sensitive data, such as design documents or the manufacture of safety-related components. With the increasing demand for TISAX certifications Labels by OEMs and suppliers, local capacities are becoming increasingly important.
By systematically expanding its TISAX expertise locally, DEKRA supports Brazilian companies that want to integrate themselves into global supply chains or secure existing international partnerships.
By expanding our local expertise, we can better support automotive customers in the area of information security and position Brazil as a trusted hub in the international TISAX supply chain
